Amanda Cosco is a freelance creative consultant with a decade of experience in media, marketing, and strategic communications.

She has worked on content creation, brand development, and digital strategy projects across industries, including academia, apparel, cannabis, consumer products, food and beverage, government, hospitality, the performing arts, and technology.

Academic Background

Amanda holds a Masters of Arts in English Literature from Toronto Metropolitan University (formerly Ryerson University). Her thesis focused on the metaphor of hunger in Canadian fiction, with a specific look at Margaret Atwood’s seminal novel The Edible Woman. Amanda earned her Bachelor of Arts from York University, where she published her first features in Macmedia and This Magazine. During her academic career, she received several scholarships for continued academic excellence, including the prestigious SSHRC Grant from the Social Science and Humanities Research Council of Canada. Since gradating, Amanda has tan several continuing studies courses from the Ontario College of Art and Design towards a certificate in Digital Media.
