Kronic Relief Brand Guidelines
Challenge: Kronic Relief, a Canadian craft producer of cannabis, needed a way to ensure they showed up consistently and effectively online. The company had a logo and the outline of a website, but lacked a comprehensive, consistent framework to maintain their brand identity across all platforms and interactions.
Solution: Working directly with Kronic Relief’s CEO and marketing manager, I developed a brand story kit and style guide to set them up for online success. The kit included everything from brand identity guidelines (defining fonts, colours, and graphical elements) to articulating the brand’s beliefs, values, positioning, and voice.
The process of creating the brand guidelines clarified Kronic Relief’s positioning in a noisy cannabis landscape and aligned the team’s vision and mission. Polishing their brand image gave the company a professional appearance and built visual recognition. It also laid the groundwork for their newly hired social media manager to hit the ground running and create content more efficiently.
