Content Strategist & Producer

for Innovation-Driven Brands

Helping organizations shape powerful narratives

across media, events, and experiences.

Hi, I’m Amanda 👋🏼

I’m a content strategist and producer helping innovation-focused brands tell better stories.

With over a decade of experience in media, marketing, and strategic communications, I’ve worked behind the scenes and in front of the camera to bring bold ideas to life. From shaping keynote narratives for global conferences to producing multimedia content for startups and Fortune 500s alike, I help organizations translate complex concepts into clear, compelling content.

You may have seen me on Global News, CBC, or TVO—or read my work in Adweek, The Toronto Star, or The Globe and Mail.

PRE

PRE is a fast-growing startup helping brands optimize their eCommerce sites using millions of AI-generated virtual shoppers. I support the company’s marketing and client relations efforts, shaping messaging, content, and brand strategy to help communicate PRE’s unique value to retailers and technology partners.

Ernst & Young’s Innovation Realized Global Summit

Four people sitting on chairs suspended by strings in a blue indoor space, engaging in a discussion and smiling at each other.

For Innovation Realized, EY’s flagship global summit, I supported the end-to-end curation of speakers under the direction of the Global Markets Digital and Business Disruption Leader. Drawing on my expertise in emerging technologies and futures thinking, I helped shape a forward-looking program designed to engage top enterprise leaders.

Electric Runway

Electric Runway is my ongoing multimedia project exploring how technology is reshaping the $3 trillion global fashion industry. From garment factories in Bangladesh to the front rows of New York Fashion Week, I’ve reported on innovation across the entire supply chain.

Through this platform, I’ve participated in dozens of international delegations on the future of fashion and retail, with speaking and media appearances in the U.S., Estonia, Germany, Spain, Finland, Hong Kong, Russia, the Philippines, and more.

Electric Runway is also the subject of my upcoming book, which charts the evolution of fashion tech through interviews, insights, and stories gathered from around the world.

HALT AI

HALT AI is a startup I co-founded with Professor Parham Aarabi of the University of Toronto to address bias in algorithms. Our early work in AI ethics and accountability earned recognition from Twitter, WIRED, CBC, CNBC, Engadget, and more.

We later pivoted to focus on using facial recognition and machine learning to audit the diversity of visual content. Our platform helped brand managers gain a 360-degree view of representation in their marketing, supporting more inclusive and data-informed creative decisions.

In 2022, we sold HALT AI’s data assets to a Fortune 500 global beauty brand and a leading American technology company.
